This proposal recognizes that the same capabilities that make drones useful for inspections and logistics, can potentially be misused. This group was created in an effort to strike a balance between commerce and privacy.
If enacted by a state, the law would allow judges to weigh how many times and for how long drones flew over property, how low it was flying there and why, and the time of a flight occurred when determining whether a drone has caused “substantial interference” with a property owner’s use and enjoyment of their land.
